Founder & CEO, Daydream

I spent a decade building products in regulated markets — rider growth at Uber, marketplace growth at Postmates, and then founding and selling an AI data platform (also called Daydream, acquired by SBI). Across every one of those roles, compliance wasn't a side concern — it shaped what we could build, how fast we could move, and which markets we could enter.

What I kept seeing was a gap: the teams responsible for compliance and third-party oversight were doing some of the most consequential work in the organization, but running it on spreadsheets, email threads, and tools that were never designed for how they actually operate. Meanwhile, growth, sales, and engineering teams got purpose-built tooling that respected their workflows. Compliance teams deserved the same.

That's what led me to build Daydream for third-party due diligence. Not because I think compliance should get out of the way — the opposite. I believe compliance done well is a growth engine. It builds trust with customers, accelerates partnerships, and reduces the kind of risk that actually kills companies. The problem was never that compliance teams ask too much. The problem is that the tools and workflows they're given make high-value work feel like busywork.

Daydream Learn is the resource library I wish had existed when I started going deep on TPRM — practical templates, regulatory framework breakdowns, and honest tool comparisons written for the people who actually run these programs day to day.
